A federal appeals court ruled Thursday to dismiss Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.), sparked by a challenge to her candidacy, said the argument was no longer strong as she had a chance to vote in the midterm elections. .

It came months after a group led by left-wing activists argued in March that Greene had helped orchestrate the January 6 storming of the US Capitol, which delayed supporters of then President Donald Trump in the congressional certification of the 2020 presidential election results for many. hours.

Greene is still on pace to beat his Democrat challenger Marcus Flowers. Polling and analytics website FiveThirtyEight has a 99 percent chance of winning.
