A legal awareness camp was organized by the District Law Enforcement Authority in collaboration with the district administration at Bhai Kahan Singh Nabha High School, Nabha.
The camp was organized under the guidance of Tejinder Singh Dhindsa, Judge, Punjab and Haryana High Court-cum-Executive Chairman, Punjab State Legal Services Authority, SAS Nagar and Tarsem Mangla, District and Sessions Judge-cum-Chairman, District Legal Services Authority, Patiala.
During the camp, several departments, including the Department of Health, Department of Finance, Department of Rural and Panchayat Development, Department of Social Justice and Empowerment and Minorities, and the Department of Agriculture, established their shop for spreading awareness among the general public, including casual workers, teachers, students and school staff about various welfare programs run by the state government including Building for the improvement of the social and economic sectors of the community.
A shop was also set up by the Regional Legal Services Authority, for the clarification of the legal aid provided to the weaker sections of the society and the inmates lost in the prisons.
The camp was attended by Kannu Garg, Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Nabha who was the chief organizer of the event for the District Administration Office, Patiala.
