New Delhi: The Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) will start the Bharat Jodo Yatra-Assam from Golokganj in western Assam’s Dhubri district on Tuesday.
Bharat Jodo Yatra-Assam during its 70 days journey will cover a distance of 830 kilometers from Dhubri to Sadiya.
In addition to the 3,570-km Kanyakumari to Kashmir yatra, the Congress organizes several sub-radars in states where the main yatra will not pass.
The padayatra, which will be led by APCC president Bhupen Kr Borah will start from Golokganj at 1 pm tomorrow, Assam Congress media group president Manjit Mahanta told. Northeast Now.

Besides Singh, some central leaders of the Congress party are likely to participate in the 70-day yatra in Assam, Mahanta said.
Almost all the top leaders of the Congress party including the leader of opposition Debabrata Saikia, former minister Rakibul Hussain, will present during the inauguration of the yatra.
The yatra will show the all-round failure of the BJP government at the center and state, said a senior party leader.
The Dhul-Bharat Jodo Yatra, which aims to cover a distance of 2,250 km, was launched by Congress in Bhubaneswar on Monday.

“Tomorrow, Bharat Jodo Yatra-Assam starts from Golokganj to Sadiya (830kms),” Ramesh added.
