IDAHO FALLS, Idaho (KIFI) – Idaho Falls Police are currently investigating a shooting in Idaho Falls. According to police PIO Jessica Clements, the incident happened around 9:40 a.m. at an apartment complex at the intersection of K-Street and Canal Avenue.
Responding officers found an adult male with a non-fatal gunshot wound.
Police are still investigating how the shooting happened, but Clements assures the community there is no danger at this time.
“We’ve got to make sure we’re doing our due diligence. But we’ll certainly update people as we go. And … anyone who has follow-up questions is welcome for updates from the police department and through our loyalists. News participation, of course,” Clements said.
