A 29-year-old man was killed and a 19-year-old girl was wounded in a shooting outside a Brooklyn housing development on Halloween.
A gunman opened fire outside NYCHA’s Nostrand Houses on Brown Street and Avenue V in Sheepshead Bay around 5:10 p.m. Monday, striking both victims, police said.
One person was shot in the buttocks and once in the chest. He was rushed to Brookdale Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The teenager was shot in the chest, right knee and right hip. She was taken to Brookdale Hospital and is expected to survive.
The gunman remains at large and the investigation is ongoing.
