The basketball allegations may be related to the fatal shooting of Migos member Takeoff at a bowling alley in Houston.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ that Quavo was in an argument with others after losing a dice game. At some point, according to the report, the parties went outside and argued over who was better at basketball.

The video shows Quavo walking away from a group before firing multiple shots.

Investigators have not indicated who killed Takeoff

Houston Police Chief Troy Finner said the 28-year-old rapper was killed early Tuesday morning. The shooting also left another man and woman with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police have not officially identified a suspect or person of interest. At least two men pulled out guns, according to Finner. A The man, dressed in black, can be seen in the video standing near Takeoff and Quavo, holding a gun.

Most of the 40 partygoers at 810 Billiards & Bowling fled when the shots rang out, Finner said. Mayor Sylvester Turner said investigators are relying on video and statements from people coming forward to further investigate.

“Let me just ask … that anyone who has information about the shooter or shooters please provide that information to HPD and allow us to resolve this situation,” Turner said at a news conference Tuesday. “Let’s get justice for this family.”

Seconds later, the camera appears to pan away from the crowd moments before multiple gunshots are heard. People can be seen running away from the area. At least 10 gunshots can be heard in the video.

A second video appears to show Quavo in a heated argument with someone after takeoff and top-rated boxer Shakur Stevenson is standing nearby. The conversation turns to basketball, and someone, possibly Quavo, says, “I’m not going down like that.”

Quavo appears to move behind the armed man, then several shots are heard. The crowd quickly disperses. At least 10 gunshots could be heard in the video.

There is no concrete evidence that the man in the video is actually one of the two shooters.

Houston police said they have seen the video and are working to identify the man. They considered him a person of interest.

It’s unclear if the man dressed in black was with Takeoff, Quavo and Stevenson or was on his own.
