Guwahati, Nov 5: In a major development, the much-awaited Silchar Cabinet meeting scheduled for November 11 has been postponed.
Speaking to the Assam Tribune on Saturday, Cachar Deputy Commissioner, Rohan Kumar Jha said that now the meeting has been postponed pending the announcement of the postponed date of the meeting.
Jha added that preparations for the ongoing conference will continue to accelerate.
According to informed sources, all important meetings are likely to be held on November 29, which has been prepared.
This meeting will be the first to be held by the Cabinet of Ministers of South West Somalia, and it is expected that this meeting will be the first to be held by the Cabinet of Ministers.
Some important decisions related to dealing with floods, urban water logging issues, development of Silchar and other parts of Barak Valley, restructuring of tourism sector in South Assam are likely to be taken while some of major projects including retaining walls on both sides of the Rangirkhal Canal from Kanakpur to Kanakpur. Rangirkhari is likely to be crowned.
