Franklin, Va. – A woman has been arrested and charged in connection with a shooting that left one person injured Saturday morning.
On Nov. 12, at 8:28 a.m., Franklin Police responded to the 700 block of Cameron Street regarding a disturbance.
When officers arrived on scene, they found a man with a gunshot wound inside a residence at the Berkeley Court Apartments.
According to the Franklin Police Department, evidence recovered and an investigation led to one man being arrested and charged.
Kimberly Faulk, 32, is charged with assault, battery family/household member, malicious wounding and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony.
Faulk is being held without bond at the Western Tidewater Regional Jail. The victim was taken to Norfolk General Hospital with what police believe are non-life threatening injuries.
This investigation is ongoing.
