13-year-old arrested for threatening to shoot at middle school in Arizona | Media Pyro

Las Vegas, Nev. (FOX5) – A 13-year-old boy has been arrested after allegedly making a shooting threat, the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office said.

MCSO said they received a report of the threat on Nov. 1 just before 8 p.m. According to police, deputies were contacted by the parent of a student at Kingman Middle School. While boarding the bus, the suspicious student passed a note to the student. According to MCSO, the suspect said in the note that he would bring a gun on the bus the next day and shoot people and then shoot himself.

Police identified the suspected bully and contacted the student and parents. The suspected student said he was not serious about the threats and had “no intention” of following through. MCSO said the student was not in possession of a firearm.

The 13-year-old was booked into Mohave County Juvenile Detention and arrested on charges of making terroristic threats. MCSO said the investigation is ongoing.
