Houston – Three teenagers are now facing major charges after shooting and killing two people last week.
The shooting happened around 3:30 p.m. on Oct. 29 in the 11280 block of Southwest Freeway, according to the Houston Police Department.
Officers were called to a business on that block and found a 20-year-old and a 15-year-old suffering from gunshot wounds.
Investigators said the three suspects entered the business and sat down at a table.
Shortly after, both victims entered the establishment and one confronted the suspect.
At some point during the argument, one of the suspects pulled out a gun and shot the victims.
Both were taken to the hospital, but the 20-year-old reportedly died. A few days later, the 15-year-old also succumbed to his injuries, officials said.
Kaylon Omari Barnes was arrested on Nov. 3 and subsequently charged. The two juvenile suspects were arrested on Nov. 4 and referred to Harris County Juvenile Probation authorities.
