Montgomery, Ill. (WLS) — A man wanted in Monday’s domestic shooting in far west suburban Montgomery has been arrested in the city of Hinsdale, the ABC7 I-Team has learned.

The slaying happened Monday afternoon in the 1300 block of Oak Ridge Lane. According to law enforcement sources who spoke with the I-Team, Hinsdale police located a car connected to the killing this afternoon.

The I-Sangh informed that the driver was taken into custody and a gun was recovered from the vehicle.

It is not known if he has been charged.

Police responded to the Oak Lane address and said they found an unresponsive man at the home.

ABC7 said the incident was domestic and there was no threat to the public.

Police did not immediately release additional information about the shooting or the victim.
