Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut, who is seen as a supporter of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), called on Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma in Guwahati on Saturday.

“I am happy to meet actress, writer and filmmaker Kangana Ranaut Ji in my office today. We are happy that she will shoot one of her productions in Assam. I thanked her and assured her of all the help in her production,” he said on Twitter.
In a short clip from the meeting, the ‘Queen’ actor is seen giving a bouquet to Sarma, the tallest leader in north-east India, and he, in turn, introduced Kangana to Assamese culture.
