What happens when you limit Instagram account
A restricted user won’t be able to see when you’re online or when you’ve read their messages. You will not be notified of anything else comments from this person in the future. Restrictions to someone because of settings
Open it Instagram app on your smartphone.
Tap the small profile picture available in the lower right corner of the screen.
Click on three horizontal menu lines available in the upper right corner of the screen.
Go to Settings tab
Click on Privacy version.
Under Connections tab, go to Limited accounts version.
Hit Continue button
When you find the account you want to restrict in the search list, tap Limit next to the username. Alternatively, you can click on Remove restrictions mark to unblock someone.
Restrict someone via user profile
Open it Instagram app on your smartphone.
Go to user profile whose Instagram account you want to restrict.
Click on menu with three dots available in the upper right corner of the screen.
Click on Limit in the pop-up menu.
