BALTIMORE COUNTY – Lansdowne residents are on high alert after learning this morning that a teenager has died following a shooting Thursday night.
Baltimore County Police were called to the 4300 block of Tucker Circle on Thursday around 9 p.m. They found a teenager shot inside a home and rushed him to the hospital.
“It’s a quiet neighborhood. We don’t have that kind of stuff going on here. It’s really quiet,” a neighbor shared with WMAR-2 News.
“We looked out, I saw everything, I saw the tape, I hope nobody gets killed. I said I don’t pray either,” the neighbor said.
Crime scene tape lined the homes of residents whose young children shared their concerns about a shooting so close to where they live.
“This gun violence is just ridiculous, and then these teenagers get killed. It’s so mindless, like people can’t get their act together. They react quickly before they think about what they’re doing,” she added.
Police have not identified the suspect or motive in the case.
“It’s sad that someone has to lose their child to find out he’s dead this morning, it’s really sad. My heart goes out to his parents,” she said.
