A youth was killed in Guwahati’s Odalbakra on suspicion of mobile theft | Media Pyro

Guwahati: On Thursday, youths killed a group of locals in Guwahati’s Odalbakra area.

The deceased was named as Sunil Sharma.

He was accused of stealing a cell phone from a building in the neighborhood.

According to reports, the group of the murdered man were all laborers who accused the deceased of stealing his mobile phone.

Although the police took the youth out of the hospital and took him to GMCH, he died at the hospital before receiving any treatment.

Reports say that Biraha died of excessive bleeding after being beaten.

The police have launched an investigation into the matter but no one has been arrested yet.
