MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WSFA) – Montgomery Police have charged a suspect. Alonzo Jones, 22, was shot and killed.
Ardarius Jackson, 23, has been charged with murder, according to police.
Officers were called to an area hospital around 3 a.m. Sunday after a report of a man shot. It was later determined that the shooting occurred at Eastern Boulevard and Monticello Drive.
An arrest affidavit indicates that Jackson and his co-defendants intentionally shot Jones inside the vehicle. Co-accused have not been identified.
Details related to this investigation have not been released publicly.
Jackson was taken into custody Wednesday and charged. He was taken to the Montgomery County Detention Facility without bail.
