One person was killed and two others were injured in a shooting Thursday afternoon at a McDonald’s in Roseland on the Far South Side, according to Chicago police and fire officials.

Paramedics responding to calls of shots fired at the McDonald’s in the first block of West 95th Street around 2:50 p.m. found three people with gunshot wounds.

A 29-year-old man was shot in the body and taken to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where he died, police said. His name has not yet been released.

Another man, a 27-year-old man, was shot in the back and taken to the same hospital, where he was listed in stable condition, authorities said.

A 49-year-old woman was shot in the right wrist and taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center, where she was listed in critical condition, police said.

No one was in custody.
