Millcreek, Utah – One person was killed and another seriously injured in an early morning shooting in the parking lot of a Millcreek gas station.
At 12:30 a.m. Friday at 4050 S. Sgt. Melody Cutler of the Unified Police Department said officers responded to reports of a shooting at the 7-Eleven near State Street.
“There was some type of dispute in the parking lot and multiple shots were fired,” Coulter said.

Officers found a man with a gunshot wound in the parking lot and began life-saving measures before transporting him to Intermountain Medical Center. By 5.30 am his condition was critical
The second victim was taken to Intermountain Medical Center by people at the scene, where he died.
Coulter said it is early in their investigation and no arrests have been made.
“We’re trying to gather video, trying to find any witnesses who actually saw what happened,” she said. “We will be looking for surveillance video in the area and at the hospital to see what we can determine.”
