TRENTON, NJ (Mercer)-A shooting in the 200 block of Hewitt Street left one person dead and two others injured, Mercer County Prosecutor Angelo Onofri told MidJersey.news. Onofri said it was a home invasion.
Trenton Police, Trenton EMS, Mercer County Paramedics and Trenton Fire all responded to the 200 block of Hewitt Street around 7:15 p.m., where one of the victims was reportedly taken by private vehicle to the trauma center at Capital Health Regional Medical Center. That’s where the man was reported dead. Two others were injured in the firing.
