ALLEGAN COUNTY, MI — A 38-year-old Allegan County man has been charged with murder after allegedly shooting a 21-year-old man who was found dead in his driveway.
James Edward Rawson Jr. was arraigned Monday, Nov. 7, on charges of first-degree murder, attempted murder and felony firearm.
Allegan County Sheriff’s deputies found the 21-year-old in a driveway near 104th Avenue and 56th Street on Friday, Nov. 4, after a woman called 911.
Police said the woman was Rosen’s ex-husband. She told police that her ex-husband shot her in the head but fled in a vehicle.
Deputies found the woman and found she had been shot multiple times.
Deputies then went to find the ex-husband. They found the 21-year-old in a driveway.
Police said Rawson surrendered.
