Allegan County shooting leaves 21-year-old man dead, woman injured | Media Pyro

ALLEGAN COUNTY, MI — A 21-year-old man was killed and a woman was injured in a shooting in southwest Allegan County.

Allegan County Sheriff’s deputies said in a statement Friday that the shooting was domestic violence-related.

On Friday, Nov. 4 at 4:30 p.m., a woman responded to a Lee Township intersection where a woman said her ex-husband had shot her in the head.

Deputies arrived at the intersection to find the woman suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

The woman told police the shooting happened at a nearby residence at 56th Street and 104th Avenue. She was able to get in a vehicle to call 911.

Police then went to the residence and found a 21-year-old man dead in the driveway from gunshot wounds.

Another suspect, identified as the suspect, surrendered to deputies and was taken into custody.
