Guwahati: Guwahati police have arrested an almost 80-year-old man for allegedly raping a 3-year-old girl in the city’s Datalpara area.
The man is said to have lured the girl with chips and then raped her.

The father of the victim said that the accused used to visit her regularly.
However, one day, taking advantage of the fact that no one was at home, the accused raped a small child.

A case was registered at Fatasil Ambari Police Station and the accused was arrested before he escaped.
The police are now investigating the matter.
