Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Saturday released BJP’s Sankalp Patra for Deori Assembly Elections scheduled to be held on November 8. Patra’ with several promises for the overall development of the Deori tribes.
The Chief Minister of Assam said in his speech that the state government will add 7 lakh new beneficiaries under the Orunodoi scheme from next month. “The state government will give Rs 10 lakh each to the 100-year-old place of worship of the Deori tribes. The state government will also give Rs 2.50 lakh to other places of worship of the Deori tribes,” he said. Sarma.
Sarma further said that the BJP and his party have succeeded in winning the hearts of the people and he is confident that the BJP will also win the Deori assembly elections. The BJP will contest 18 of the 22 council seats, and its ally AGP will contest the remaining four seats. (ANI)
