The Bexar County Sheriff is investigating a shooting on the Northeast Side.
Ollo/Getty ImagesThe Bexar County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting near Judson High School and Judson Middle School on San Antonio’s far northeast side. The sheriff’s office posted an alert on Facebook about the shooting on Tuesday, Nov. 1 just before 2:30 p.m.
According to the post, BCSO FM is “working a shooting” in the 8200 block of 78. The sheriff’s office said there is a heavy law enforcement presence saturating the area.
Deputies said the agency has coordinated with Judson ISD to ensure surrounding schools and students are safe. Judson ISD told Maisa that no schools are currently on lockdown.
BCSO said the suspect got into a four-door white sedan that was eastbound at the intersection of FM 78 and Ventura Way.
