COVINA, Calif. (CNS) — Two of the three suspects in a house party shooting in Covina that left two people dead surrendered to authorities Saturday.
Homicide investigators have coordinated with attorneys for 19-year-old Brian Thomas Ramos and 18-year-old Adrian Joseph Robles, who turned themselves in, according to sheriff’s officials.
Robles turned himself in at the Industry Sheriff’s Station at 10:15 a.m. and was being held on $2 million bail, according to the sheriff’s online intern locator. Information on Ramos was not immediately available.
A third suspect, 19-year-old Joel Daniel Garcia, remains at large. He should be considered armed and dangerous. He is 6-foot-1, 160 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.
Deputies dispatched to the 17000 block of East Bellbrook Street found Ronnie Benitez, 20, of Covina, dead at the scene around 12:30 a.m. Sunday, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
Paramedics took three others to hospital, where one died. The Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office on Friday identified the man as Vladimir Umana, 33, of West Covina.
