Delaware State Police are investigating a shooting in the Frankford area Sunday night.
On November 13, 2022, at approximately 10:15 p.m., troopers responded to a residence in the 30000 block of Gum Road for a shooting. When troopers arrived on scene, they learned that a 10-year-old juvenile had been shot in the upper shoulder. They were admitted to an area hospital with serious injuries. The circumstances and cause of this incident are currently being actively investigated.
The Delaware State Police Troop 4 Criminal Investigations Unit continues to investigate this case. Troopers are asking anyone with information about this incident to contact Detective Z.
