Double shooting in North Philadelphia: Police | Media Pyro

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — Two people were shot in North Philadelphia Friday night. The shooting happened in the 1600 block of West Lehigh Avenue around 11:45 p.m.

Authorities say a 42-year-old man was found a few blocks away in the 2600 block of Bancroft Street. The young man was injured after being shot in the right leg.

He was admitted to Temple University Hospital.

Another man, a 28-year-old man, was shot in the chest and walked into Temple University Hospital. He was placed in stable condition.

Police have not made any arrests but have recovered a weapon.

Investigators have provided little information about the suspects. One of the culprits was a man and he was wearing a mask. The other, a man, was also dressed in dark clothing.
