The Assam government is fully committed to implement the Bodo accord, the minister said Himanta Biswa Sarma Sunday.
The Assam CM was in Jougalu of Kokrajhar in Assam today where he said, “There was a time when the sound of gunshots and explosions used to wake people up in this area at night. Now there is peace in the state.”
CM Sarma went on to announce the construction of sports complex in Kokrajhar. He said, “We will build a sports complex similar to Sarusajai in Guwahati, here. For this, we will release Rs 150 in cash.”
He went on to say that the building will come up in the next six months.
In another important announcement, CM Sarma said, “Land Pattas allocation process will start from November 21 in Bodoland Territorial State.”
Speaking further, CM Sarma said, “BJP-UPPL will jointly win the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.”
“Steps will be taken to withdraw the cases against the NDFB leader. In the coming years, we will renew the implementation of the Orunodoi Scheme in Bodoland,” added the Assam CM.
