Guwahati: Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut has reached Assam and is shooting for her upcoming film Emergency.
The actress who is known for her controversial statements recently visited Assam for location hunting before starting the shoot soon.
She visited places like Kaziranga and Karbi Anglong to find out the ideal locations for shooting.
The actress wrote on her Instagram Stories, “Okay, let’s do this. Starts schedule for Assam… #emergency”. She also posted a few pictures from the scene.
Based on a real emergency that happened in India in 1975, the film was written and directed by Ranaut herself.
She will play the role of the former Prime Minister of India, Indira Gandhi in this film.
