Manchester-based Cook Little has merged with local firm Sheehan Phinney – a move that significantly expands Sheehan’s corporate, transactional, operational and data privacy practices.
Jim Cook, one of the founders of Cook Little, said that “joining Sheehan, and the talent and resources he offers, will be a great fit for our large technology, startup, manufacturing, automotive , professional services, hospitality, non-profit, and other clients, and provide a strong case for others looking to take advantage of our business law services.”
Sheehan’s managing director, David McGrath, added that “the move represents Sheehan’s continued commitment to its entrepreneurial vision and continued,
strategic growth, and this talent greatly strengthens the Firm’s ability to meet the growing needs of our local, national and international clients, across the business sectors we serve.
Walsh joins McLane Middleton
McLane Middleton has added Christopher J. Walsh to the firm as a partner in the Litigation Department. He focuses on the defense of criminal, government and internal investigations and other commercial litigation.
Shaheen & Gordon add a couple of friends
The firm of Shaheen & Gordon has added attorneys Madeline Blackburn and Simone Washington to the firm. Both are alumni of the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) summer internship program, where they each spend five weeks working with lawyers on legal matters and another five weeks with community organizations. Blackburn is going out of business
The Dover and Washington office will be based out of the Concord office.
Shilling is a “Go To” lawyer.
McLane Middleton attorney Cameron G. Shilling has been named to Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly’s 2022 list of Cybersecurity/Data Privacy Go-To Attorneys. The publication noted that Shilling “has extensive experience in privacy and data security over the years” and “has conducted nearly 100 enterprise risk management projects for businesses across many businesses.”
