MAGNOLIA, Texas (KTRK) — A fight between two men at a storage facility in Magnolia turned deadly when one shot the other, authorities said.
At 10:50 a.m. Thursday, deputies with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call of an assault with a firearm in the 36500 block of Coleman Road in Magnolia.
Deputies found a man who had been shot at the scene. Despite efforts, the man was pronounced dead.
Authorities believe the shooting stemmed from an argument between the victim and another person. The second man is currently cooperating with law enforcement in the investigation, the sheriff’s office said.
The relationship between the men is not immediately known.
Details of what led to the confrontation or the victim’s name have not been released.
Officials said there is no threat to the public in this incident.
