ADA Worldwide, the independent label and artistic arm of Warner Music Group, has appointed MaryLynne Drexler as Chief Business and Legal Affairs Officer.
Drexler joins ADA after several years with Sony Music’s The Orchard.
In his new role, ADA says Drexler will help shape global strategy while overseeing art and distribution, including acquisitions, JVs, investments, and new technologies. , and strategic alliances.
Also announced today is that Bryan Roberts has been named VP, A&R and Label Approvals for the company.
In New York, Drexler and Roberts report to ADA’s Global President, Cat Kreidich.
Drexler began his career in the music industry in 2014 at Sony Music’s RED Distribution in the Business and Legal Affairs department before transitioning to The Orchard.
Most recently he was VP, Business & Legal Affairs for The Orchard’s Fine Arts & Labels division.
Roberts joined the company earlier this summer having previously held several roles at Sony Music’s The Orchard including its Senior Director, A&R.
