Megan Thee Stallion Shoots Down An Unreported 1501 Lawsuit | Media Pyro

Megan Thee Stallion is defying misinformation.

The Grammy-winning rapper took to Twitter on Thursday to share a report about her legal battle with 1501 Certified Entertainment, the Houston record label that signed her in 2018. “The record is known as Something for you Hotties Plaintiff/defendant Megan Pete fails to meet the p/k/a/ Megan Thee Stallion ‘minimum record guarantee’ or ‘productivity guarantee’ for the second option period under the contracts between parties,” the article read. “Plaintiff/defendant Megan Pete’s Megan Thee Stallion has failed to meet her ‘limited record agreement’ or “results” for the third time under in contracts between the parties.”

Megan heard the report and continued to say that the court has yet to rule on summary judgment and that the publication of the document was a mistake.

“No judge has ruled anything on this 1501 case, this information is not correct,” he tweeted. “The court date for this is not set until DECEMBER 12th…We did NOT go to court with summary judgment. Please stop spreading misinformation and thank you.”

Meg went on to ask why everyone seemed to be “so confused about bad news” and went on to hint that the aforementioned decision had been overturned.

“Truth is not important to those who hate me for online relationships 🤷🏽‍♀️” he wrote, “but a Notice of VOID thanks to the COURT for clarifying one he.”

Notice of default judgment: “On November 2, 2022, the court entered a judgment/decision on the summary judgment motion which was not heard, considered or decided. On November 3 , 2022, upon realizing the error of the judgment/order, brought the matter to the clerk of the court…the court set aside the ‘judgment/order’.”

Also on Thursday, Megan shared a now-deleted post titled 1501, writing that “people in that camp are not clearing my music to be streamed anywhere (TV, movies, etc.) I’m about to do my Amazon job tonight!
