Megan Thee Stallion is fuming over a controversial line in Drake’s new song, “Circo Loco,” that is casting doubt on her alleged spat with Tory Lanez.
“Stop using my shooting as a clout bitch ass N!” “Savage” rapper Tweeted on Friday morning Without naming the performer of “In My Feelings”.
“It’s funny since when TF makes fun of ABT [sic] Women were shot! You n—especially RAP N—as lame!”
Megan, 27, added, “Ready to boycott shoes and clothes, but a black woman is dogged when she says one of the boys in the house molested her.”
Drake, 36, raps on a track from his and 21 Savage’s new “Her Loss” album, “This bitch ’bout to take shots, but she still a stallion.”
The “God’s Plan” rapper has not confirmed whether the lyric is actually about Meghan, and his rep declined to comment.
Meanwhile, fans online started debating what Drake really meant in the song.
One The man argued, “Where ppl got these lyrics, I went to Genius, the bar was ‘Shots.’ the plural WORD PLAY ‘This butt lie gets shots (butt shots) but she’s still a stallion (regardless she’s still tall and thick) He talks about college girls in many songs … Freh.
However, another wrote in reply, “This is called a double standard. He was the shadow.”
The back and forth didn’t seem to change Megan’s mind Added on Twitter“When the MF facts come out, remember all the fave rappers who stood behind Na who shot a girl down.”
she And concluded“People attack me, you go for it, I defend myself, now I do a lot … every time it doesn’t stop, it didn’t happen until I came out and said I was shot … you don’t fwm [f–k with me] Okay cool f–k it by.”
Alex Spiro, one of the attorneys representing Megan in her case against the 30-year-old Lanes, tells Page Six, “Despite the irrefutable evidence that Megan was a victim of gun violence, the ignorant continue to support her attacker.”
Lanez also didn’t address Drake’s song — likely because a judge ruled in February 2021 that he wouldn’t be allowed to speak publicly about the pending lawsuit.
Maybe the “LUV” singer and the “Hold On, We’re Going Home” rapper talked behind closed doors, but the two Canadian artists have a long history.
Drake and Lanez had a minor beef in 2016 in which they subtly called each other out in their music and interviews, but they appeared to have hit it off by March 2017 when they posted a photo of them hanging out together.
Since both are from Toronto, the “One Dance” rapper captioned the now-deleted post, “The city needs more of this and less of that.” The same image is still featured on the “Say It” singer’s Instagram.
Lanez was charged with multiple counts in October 2020, including aggravated assault with a semi-automatic firearm, after shooting Megan in the leg after a night out together in July 2020.
Page Six previously obtained medical records showing the “Thot St” rapper’s leg was pierced by bullet fragments, but Lanez still denied the claims.
The trial of the case will begin at the end of November.
