CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va (WVIR) – Suspected UVA shooter Christopher Darnell Jones Jr. is facing three counts of second-degree murder, use of a firearm in the commission of a felony, and two counts of aggravated assault.
According to NBC29 reporter AC Rieman, the second-degree murder charge means the prosecution must prove that someone died and committed a crime.
Rieman added that both sides will work to keep facts out of the courtroom to preserve the integrity of the case.
