If it comes out, it should be safe on culture, first their allegations were made in the internal report of the Hawks. The investigation is looking into a number of claims, including those made against Alastair Clarkson and Chris Fagan who were both at Hawthorn between 2008-16. Clarkson and Fagan have strongly denied the allegations and appeared before the party with their own legal counsel.
Attorney Michael Bradley, managing partner of Marque Lawyers, who represents “Amy,” said Monday that his client is determined not to appear before the panel.
Amy, who revealed her grievances in an internal review of the Hawks led by former Richmond player Phil Egan, is alleged to have been pressured into terminating her pregnancy by Hawthorn’s coaching staff.
“It is possible that the four lawyers on the panel do not need legal advice on how to do their jobs, and the administrative work has been shared with the AFL lawyers. In any case, none of this will make up for the mistakes in the process that made Amy decide not to participate,” Bradley said.
Amy and Bradley’s legal team want to start the process from scratch, now that the AFL organization is completely out of business. However, the league says it has implemented a strict policy under its own rules, and families are free to pursue other legal options.
The AFL said the union’s investigations would be completed and findings would be released by December 22.
HIbberd, Melksham, submitted contract supplements

Melbourne premiership defender Michael Hibberd and Jake Melksham have been handed one-year contract extensions.
Hibberd, a half-back, has played 12 games this season, while Melksham has played nine, including his 200. Melksham also struggled with teammate Steven May, with the former’s injury to have his hand operated on.
“We are very pleased to reward Michael and Jake for their work this season and extend their time in Melbourne,” Demons line manager Tim Lamb said.
