Belle Vernon, Pa. (KDKA) – A manhunt is underway for a suspected shooter in Belle Vernon after a man was shot and killed in a shopping center parking lot.
Westmoreland County 911 told KDKA that first responders were called to the scene around 7:20 p.m. Saturday.
The shooting is said to have happened outside a Lowe’s Home Improvement store in Rostraver Square Shopping Center in Belle Vernon.
We know the coroner has been called to the scene, but no arrests have been made yet and police have been searching for the suspect for the past few hours.
Our photographer spoke with the Rostraver Township police chief, who did not want to go into detail about the investigation or the suspect.
“At this point, I don’t want to comment too much on the investigation, because we recently received some information, in particular [about] The investigation itself,” said Chief John Christner.
