One dead in Fayetteville shooting, deputy investigates | Media Pyro

FAYETTEVILLE, NC (WTVD) — The Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office is investigating after a man was shot and killed Friday.

Deputies responded to calls about a shooting in the 2300 block of Cattail Circle in Fayetteville just after 5:00 p.m., where they found a man with a gunshot wound. The seriously injured youth was rushed to the hospital but died.

The victim’s name has not been released.

The shooter remained at the scene and cooperated with deputies, according to authorities.
