SARTELL (WJohnNews) – The Sartell Police Department is investigating a shooting that happened late Saturday night.
Around 11:00 p.m., police were called to a report of a man shot at a home in the 1900 block of Cypress Circle.
Officials say the man was treated at the scene before being transported to St. Cloud Hospital. The police said that the surgery was done and the health condition is satisfactory. His name has not been released.
Officers arrived at the scene and received a description of the suspect vehicle.
The 33-year-old suspect was located by Waite Park Police officers assisting the Sartel Police Michael Onlove Pierce’s, at 19th Avenue North and Boulder Drive.
He was charged with second-degree assault with a dangerous weapon and taken to the Stearns County Jail.
