A 27-year-old man was shot and killed on Norton Street in Rochester, NY Saturday night. Rochester police are now investigating it as a homicide.
Around 10:30 p.m. Saturday, the victim arrived at Rochester General Hospital in a private car with multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead a short time later.
After initial investigation, the police found that the passenger who was in the car when the shots were fired was killed. As the car pulled into a driveway on Norton Street, investigators discovered that at least one gunman had ambushed the car.
In the back seat of the car were two children aged 7 and 8. One of the children belonged to the victim and the other to the driver. The victim is the only person beaten.
No one is in police custody and anyone with information is asked to call 911.
