KALAMAZOO, MI – A gunshot victim showed up at the hospital Tuesday, Nov. 1, as police investigated a report of shots fired on Staples Avenue west of Woodward Avenue.
When police arrived at the scene around 6 p.m., officers found two separate vehicles involved in a collision. Witnesses report hearing gunshots as vehicles drive recklessly in the area.
A 49-year-old Kalamazoo resident showed up at a local hospital with a gunshot wound to the leg while police were at the scene, police said. Police said the injuries were not life-threatening.
