Jacksonville, Fla. – Jacksonville, Fla. – The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office investigated and sent one person to the hospital Thursday morning.
According to JSO, officers responded to a shooting in the 5800 block of North Main Street just after midnight. A News 4 Jax crew notes that part of a large parking lot near Harvey’s Supermarkets was blocked early this morning. Officials say a man in his 20s was found with a gunshot wound to the upper body.
A witness said another person got into the victim’s semi truck, officials added. A witness told police there was an argument before shots were fired. The officer said the witness said the shooter ran away after the shots were fired.
