Lucknow: A month ago, two people were arrested in the incident of firing at a milk supplier in Para area of Lucknow. The two accused — both with no previous criminal record — fired at the milkman and surrendered. ₹40,000 on October 13. The man who was seriously injured in the attack survived but is still undergoing treatment in hospital.
Sharing more information, Inspector Dhadhibal Tiwari of Para Police Station said, “The two accused have been identified as 28-year-old Deepak Singh, a vegetable vendor and 20-year-old Amar Valmiki, a small grocery shop owner. . They planned the attack along with Kuldeep Mishra, a milk supplier, on the instructions of Ranjit and Harun, two men with criminal backgrounds.
Accused Deepak told the police that they had stolen it ₹40,000 from the victim. Deepak and Amar were given the total amount ₹20,000 to masterminds Ranjith and Harun. So far, the police have recovered ₹10,000 from the accused. The remaining amount will be recovered from Ranjith and Harun, who are already in jail in another case. They along with five other accomplices are in Lucknow’s Gomatinagar Police Station.
