NILES – Two teenagers found involved in the accidental shooting death of an 11-year-old girl Friday night have been found and arrested.

A 14-year-old boy and girl are facing multiple charges in connection with a shooting on North Chestnut Avenue, officials reported. Police said the victim is in stable condition. A gun was reportedly recovered from the scene.

The teenager has been charged with carrying a concealed weapon, receiving stolen property and tampering with evidence. The teenager is facing charges of reckless assault with a firearm.

Both of them are accused of being drunk by minors. Tawny Stewart, 37, is facing charges of contributing to the delinquency of a minor and furnishing alcohol to a minor, according to a report.

More charges may be filed as the incident continues to be investigated.
