Actor-producer Udayanidhi Stalin’s upcoming film Kalagata Laivan has entered the post-production stage. The film is directed by Magir Thirumeni, who is known for his films like Meghaman and Tadam. Kalagatalaivan will hit the screens on November 18 and features Nidhi Aggarwal in a female role along with Kalaiyarasan, Bigg Boss fame Aarav and Srikanth Deva. The project is bankrolled by Red Giant Movies. The first look of the film was shared by the production house on Twitter.

Gradually, the blue silhouette turns red and montages of Udayanidhi Stalin appear. Fast-paced music complements the poster. In the final look, Udayanidhi showed a serious look in three poses. The poster has been shared on Sony Music South’s YouTube channel.

Recently, the cast members of Kalagata Laivan released the song Hai Puyale through social media. The track is sung by Shreya Ghosh and Sathya Prakash. The lyrics are penned by Karki and a lyrical video of the beautiful romantic number has been released. So far, the romantic number has been showering praises. Arol Corelli of Pisasu fame has composed the music for Kalagatalaivan.
One user wrote, “One more Shreya Ghoshal song dipped in honey to listen to overnight. Shreya Ghoshal is the melody queen of Indian music.

A source from Kalagatalive said that the makers will launch a grand audio event. Although it was earlier speculated that Kalagatalaivan will be a political thriller, director Magir Thirumeni has come forward with an explanation that Kalagatalaivan is an action thriller.
