Waterloo Regional Police continue to investigate a shooting in Kitchener | Media Pyro

Waterloo Region, Ontario – Waterloo Regional Police are investigating a shooting in Kitchener.

On September 15, 2022, at approximately 11 p.m., police received a report of a person shot at Aspen Avenue and Mouser Avenue.

Upon arrival, police found a 24-year-old Kitchener male suffering from a gunshot wound.

The man was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Investigators believe that this is a targeted incident.

There will be an increased police presence in the area throughout the day as detectives canvass the area.

Members of the Waterloo Regional Police Service’s Major Crimes Unit, General Investigations Unit and Forensic Identification Unit are continuing to investigate.
