San Antonio – Wilson County Sheriff’s investigators say they are looking for information and other people involved in an incident in which a man was shot in the leg early Tuesday morning.
They found the victim inside a pickup at the intersection of FM 3432 and County Road 324 after responding to a call for help around 3 a.m.

Investigators say they later learned he had been shot at a different location and brought him there for help.
They later found evidence showing the shooting took place on private property at the end of Live Oak Drive.
“We now know there was some type of altercation between multiple people,” Chief Deputy Clint Garza said. “We have the weapon that he fired and we’re still going through the scene and processing everything.”
Garza said the weapon investigators recovered was a rifle.
He said that two persons have been detained as witnesses and others involved are absconding.
No specific information has been released about the victim.
Garza said he was taken to a hospital for treatment after being shot in the leg.
