A 4-year-old boy was taken to Albany Med after being shot with a BB gun in Washington County. The father was arrested for the crime.
Police were called to the processor’s residence around 7:20 p.m. Saturday. Police say they have been called to the house several times before. When they got there, the fight between them had to be broken up
31-year-old Eric Prosser and his grandson rushed to the scene after finding that he had been shot with a BB gun.
Prosser was taken into custody on charges of criminal contempt and assault. He was also charged with child endangerment and misdemeanor battery.
The toddlers’ grandparents say their daughter is “through Prosser.” They call him “a chronic alcoholic” who was abusive to his daughter and grandchildren for a long time.
