Philadelphia – Police are investigating a shooting in Philadelphia Wawa that left one person injured.
The shooting happened around 4:15 a.m. Friday at the Wawa located at Francord Avenue and Academy Road in Torresdale, authorities said.
Law enforcement officials tell FOX 29’s Steve Keeley that a licensed gun owner was in the store when he saw a man staring at him and said something.
Investigators say another man pulled out a gun and opened fire.
Police say the bullet grazed the licensed gun owner before traveling through Wawa’s back door to the front door.

Two shell casings were found outside the door and a bullet went through a trash can on the other side of the store, authorities say.
Police said the victim was in stable condition.
The firing comes amid concerns that Wawa is moving away from the Philadelphia area due to crime after two center city locations closed their doors for safety reasons.
