People are very disillusioned with BJP, the current government of Assam is running on loans, the government has already taken more than Rs 1.15 crore as debt, this government is a bankrupt government, 25 lakh youth are unemployed. are in Assam. In the last six and a half years the BJP-led government in Assam has provided employment to only 50,000 youth,” said Bhupen Kumar Borah.

He also said that the alliance with AIUDF was the wrong step taken by the Congress leadership. “Because of this, the Congress party lost many seats in the last Assembly elections in Upper Assam.
